I created the RL.Exchange 3D promo video for a Rocket League marketplace. This was the second project for the brand, but the task became larger in scale. It was necessary to show not only the purchase of items, but also build a complete scene with a car, interface, and stadium.
The foundation of the video was a hexagonal 3D environment. It is glowing, technological, and slightly abstract. The environment works as a showcase for the platform. It makes it possible to show the interface, the purchase process, and the item itself. At the same time, the video does not turn into a dry website demonstration.
A separate focus was placed on the transition to the game feeling. First, the viewer sees the purchase of an item. Then the scene assembles the car from separate elements. After that, the video moves it to the stadium. For the final part, I recreated the arena from scratch. This makes the project feel closer to the world of Rocket League.
In this video, it was important to me that the scene, interface, purchase, car assembly, and transition to the arena worked as one chain. Even a simple item demonstration had to look not like a product on a screen, but like part of the game world.
That is why I paid attention to the details: the hexagonal floor, glowing blocks, background depth, car parts, neon accents, smoke, highlights, and the final stadium. All of this helped make the 3D promo video not just advertising, but more dimensional and spectacular.
The hexagonal 3D environment became the foundation of the video. It is not directly tied to the real interface, but it supports the Rocket League theme well: technology, energy, light, motion, and the feeling of a game arena.
The car is the main object of the promo. I wanted to show it not as a static object, but through assembly and appearance from separate parts, so the purchase of an item would feel like an event: first the interface, then the transformation, then the finished car in the game space.
The stadium was created from scratch specifically for this video. The final scene had to give a sense of scale: the field, stands, light, RL.Exchange branding, and the atmosphere of an arena where the purchased item already becomes part of the game.
