New Website, Same Old Love for the Craft
Well, the work continues.
For about three months, I’ve been developing a new website for myself. Not just updating the design or moving a few blocks around, but building almost everything from scratch: the front end, the back end, settings, forms, anti-spam, the shop, the ticket system, and several custom plugins.
I wanted to create a website that looks and works exactly the way I need it to. No temporary fixes in the spirit of “I’ll deal with it later.” In the end, everything is slowly coming together into one system: portfolio, blog, shop, client communication, and internal tools that help the site work properly.
The main goal is still simple: to show my work and give people an easy way to contact me. But now it’s not just a portfolio. It’s also a place where I can collect my projects, texts, experiments, and useful materials from my working process.
This site is my own space
Here I’ll publish my work, texts, experiments, tools, and different findings that appear along the way.
I’ll continue sharing new projects, writing about 3D and motion design, talking about my experience, and publishing things that may be useful for other designers and 3D artists: scripts, plugins, models, sounds, and other practical materials.
Some of this is already in early development — for example, two After Effects plugins shown in the slides above.
What’s next
There are many plans for the site. It will keep growing, the portfolio will be updated, and the blog and shop will gradually get more useful content.
A big cinematic project should be released around August. I also want to launch a few more projects this year and next year — the kind of ideas that have been sitting in my head for a while and are slowly becoming something real.
I don’t want to promise too much in advance, so I’ll keep it simple: I’m still working.
More interesting things are coming.
